Charles' love of all things astronomy began as a young boy when his father and he would walk in chilly Colorado mornings to the neighborhood park and marvel at the beauty of universe.
      As his life continued, such mundane matters as work, bills, and responsibilities demanded his time and attention.  An eclectic progression of jobs and careers followed... Aviation Structural Mechanic in the US Navy,  singer, impersonator, apartment maintenance, Combat Medic in the Army National Guard, Hospital security Supervisor... kept Charles busy and ever-learning new skills.
Astronomy is an expensive hobby, though, and it took an extraordinary life shake-up before Charles would return to his first love.
After relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2014, Charles eventually became a Wedding Minister and finally had the time and ability to once again spend hours soaking in the night sky. 
Although Vegas is not exactly conducive to dark skies, there are countless dark skies within just a few hours' drive from Sin City.

   The photos in www.Nightvistas are from many of these locations, The Grand Canyon, Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, Yellowstone National Park, Mojave National Wildlife Preserve, Death Valley National Park. 

Today, Charles is one of the elite Adventure Guides with Pink Jeep Tours out of Las Vegas. Every week he shares his love of nature and its beauty at exquisite locations such as Death Valley National Park, The West Rim of the Grand Canyon, Valley Of Fire State Park, Red Rock Conservation Area, Eldorado Canyon, and Hoover Dam.
